What exactly is BuildGara?

BuildGara is Nepal's first startup operating system — a single platform where you can register your company, manage legal documents, raise funding from investors, hire teams, buy business services, attend events, and get consultations. Think of it as Daraz + LinkedIn + AngelList, built specifically for Nepal's business ecosystem.

Who can use BuildGara?

Anyone! Founders use it to build and grow their startups. Investors use it to discover deals and manage their portfolio. Service providers (lawyers, accountants, marketers) use it to list services and get clients. General users can browse the marketplace, attend events, and buy/sell established businesses.

How does payment work?

We support eSewa, Khalti, Stripe (international credit/debit cards), and bank transfer. When you buy a service, the money goes through BuildGara. After delivery is confirmed, we release the payment to the provider. Refunds are processed automatically for Stripe and Khalti, and manually for eSewa and bank transfers.

Absolutely. We use JWT authentication with refresh token rotation, bcrypt password hashing, and Helmet security headers. All sensitive documents (KYC, pitch decks, contracts) are served via signed URLs that expire after 10 minutes — they're never publicly accessible. We also use rate limiting and CORS protection.

How does the KYC process work?

After signing up, you complete a verification form with your personal details and upload your citizenship or passport. Our admin team reviews your submission within 24-48 hours. Once approved, you get access to advanced features like fundraising (for founders) or deal flow (for investors). Vendors and consultants have their own KYC process too.

Can I raise funding through BuildGara?

Yes! Once your KYC is approved, you can create a pitch profile with your startup's details, upload your pitch deck and financials, set how much you're raising and on what terms, and publish it. Verified investors can then discover your pitch, express interest, and start investment discussions — all within the platform.

How do consultations work?

Service providers set up consultation offerings (e.g., '30-min legal advice' or '1-hour strategy session') with pricing and availability. Founders browse and book a slot, paying upfront. The consultant delivers the session, and the platform handles the payout. Both parties can leave reviews.

Is BuildGara free to use?

We have a free tier that gives you community access, basic AI assistant, and the learning library. The Premium plan (Rs 999/mo) unlocks registration assistance, document templates, and the investor directory.

What about disputes and refunds?

If you have an issue with a service or order, you can file a formal dispute through the platform with evidence. Our admin team reviews both sides and makes a ruling. Refunds are processed back through the original payment method. We also have live support chat for quick questions.

Can I buy or sell an established business?

Yes — our marketplace includes a section for established businesses. If you want to sell your business, you can list it with details, valuation, and financials. Buyers can browse listings, make offers, and negotiate. It's like a business acquisition marketplace built into the platform.
